Brigantine is a beautiful island that is just north of Atlantic City. There is only one road that leads to Brigantine and it is Route 87 which passes through Atlantic City. The island is just minutes from the night life that Atlantic City has to offer. Brigantine is the best of both worlds. You have all of the peace and quiet of a quaint beach town, but you also have the thriving night life of Atlantic City literally minutes away. There are some spots of the beach in Brigantine where you are actually able to drive your 4-wheel drive vehicle onto the beach (permit required). Nothing like tailgating at the beach!
